Juhu traffic curbs from 3.30pm for ISKCON Gokulashtami

Traffic controls around the Hare Rama Hare Krishna Mandir in Juhu will begin at 3.30pm on September 3 for Gokulashtami celebrations.

Mumbai Traffic Police’s Santacruz Traffic Division will enforce the restrictions from 3.30pm on September 3 until 2am on September 4. The controls will resume at 4pm on September 4 and remain in place until 2am on September 5.

No-parking rules will apply on Janardhan Mhatre Road, Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg, Juhu Church Road, Gandhi Gram Road, Alfred Criedo Road, Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg, Shyamrao Parulekar Marg, Balraj Sahani Road, A.B. Nair Road and Devle Road, also known as Military Road.

No entry will apply from Chandok Chowk towards Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg, except for emergency services, VVIP, temple and local residents’ vehicles. Traffic from Alfred Criedo Road towards Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg will also be barred, as will the Shyamrao Parulekar Marg–Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg route. Vehicles cannot travel west towards Military Road from the Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg–Devle Road junction.

Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg to Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg will operate one-way. Mumbai’s Krishna temples have also scheduled Janmashtami rituals and midnight darshan.
