Khalin Joshi takes six-shot lead at Bengaluru Open halfway stage

Khalin Joshi will take a six-shot lead into the final two rounds of the Bengaluru Open after a four-under 68 at the Karnataka Golf Association on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old Bengaluru golfer is 15-under 129 after 36 holes, following his opening 11-under 61 with five birdies and one bogey in cooler, windy conditions. His only dropped shot came at the par-four seventh, his 16th hole of the round.

Manoj S, an 18-year-old from Bengaluru, held on to second place at nine-under 135 after a two-under 70. Four players shared third at seven-under 137: Manu Gandas, Saptak Talwar, Shaurya Bhattacharya and Veer Ahlawat. Bengaluru’s Mari Muthu R. stood tied seventh on six-under 138.

The halfway cut fell at one-over 145, with 52 of 132 players advancing. The tournament’s final two rounds will also settle which players finish inside the top 60 of the 2026 DP World PGTI Order of Merit and retain playing rights for the 2026-27 season.
