Kharghar road closures, Kalamboli diversions for Ganesh immersion on Sept 25

Kharghar’s D-Mart Signal–DAV International School stretch will close in both directions from 10am on September 25 as Ganesh immersion processions move through Navi Mumbai.

The road between Kharghar Gaon Metro Station and the road behind Kamdhenu Complex, opposite the late Sudam Bhikaji Patil Arch, will also close until the processions conclude. Motorists travelling from D-Mart towards DAV International School can use Sectors 18 and 19. Traffic in the opposite direction will be diverted via Vastuvihar Chowk, Balaji Sweets, Shilp Chowk and D-Mart. Vehicles travelling from Kharghar Gaon Metro Station can use Daily Bazaar Chowk.

In Kalamboli, immersion processions will travel to Mhasar (Mhasoba) Lake in Sector 12 via Karawali Chowk, KL-2 Naka, SBI Chowk and Carmel Chowk, or via Ketli Chowk, Police Headquarters Chowk and Ambika Heritage. Restrictions will also apply near Sunshine Society in Sector 6 and Hansdhwani Gruhsankul in Sector 15. Police have asked motorists to plan journeys around the diversions.
