Rakhi Sawant launched Kitty Su Beauty at The LaLiT New Delhi as Kitty Su marked 15 years as the hotel group’s queer-affirming nightlife brand.

The debut range has three matte liquid lipsticks — Hotline, Tantric and Blackmail — and two treatment glosses. Lipstick minis start at ₹399, while full-size lipsticks cost between ₹1,950 and ₹2,490. The glosses are priced at ₹1,950.

Delhi-based drag performer and makeup artist Hash Brownie worked on the collection. According to the brand, Hotline can also be used as blush or face pigment; it describes Tantric as an earthy, warm shade and Blackmail as suited to graphic looks.

The brand said it developed the line over about three years, with a focus on colour and staying power without a heavy feel for makeup worn through movement, heat, lights and long nights.

“We wanted to make it because Kitty Su already had a beauty language of its own,” said Keshav Suri, executive director of The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group. He said the line draws on the experimentation associated with drag and queer nightlife, with an emphasis on expression rather than correction.
