Delhi rain forecast: Light showers, evening thunderstorms expected

A spell of light rain eased Delhi’s humid weather on Thursday, while clouds covered several parts of the city.

The India Meteorological Department forecast light rain from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, when the temperature was expected to be near 33°C. The chance of rain during that window was 20%.

Rain activity was forecast to pick up later in the day. Scattered thunderstorms were expected between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, with temperatures likely to range from 31°C to 32°C and the probability of rain rising to 35%.

Delhi has seen intermittent showers this month. The IMD forecast temperatures between 31°C and 33°C through the afternoon and evening.
