Man dies after fall at Le Meridien in Lutyens’ Delhi
Divij Maria, 37, was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital after the incident and was declared brought dead, police said.
A 37-year-old man died after a fall at Le Meridien Hotel in Lutyens’ Delhi on Tuesday. Police have begun an inquest and further inquiry.
Divij Maria, 37, died after falling from the fourth-floor poolside at Le Meridien Hotel in Lutyens’ Delhi on Tuesday, police said.
Parliament Street police received information about the incident and took Maria to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
A crime team inspected the hotel site. Police have begun inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and preserved the body for a postmortem examination.
The circumstances of the death are under inquiry.
