PM Modi to visit Delhi’s SRCC for centenary on Teachers’ Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Shri Ram College of Commerce on Saturday, September 5, as the Delhi University college marks its centenary.

The Teachers’ Day visit will be Modi’s first address at SRCC since February 2013, when he was Gujarat’s chief minister. His earlier speech, titled *Emerging Business Models in the Global Scenario*, addressed youth, demographic potential and governance.

During that address, Modi described young people as “new-Age power” and spoke of “minimum government, maximum governance”. He also used the image of a glass “half with water and half with air”.

Modi had been Gujarat chief minister for 12 years when he spoke at SRCC in 2013. He will return to the college during his third consecutive term as prime minister.
