Mumbai Metro Line 3 to operate overnight for Anant Chaturdashi

Devotees travelling for Ganpati visarjan on September 25 will be able to use Mumbai Metro Line 3 through the night.

Mumbai Metro Line 3 said the Aqua Line will operate overnight for Anant Chaturdashi, the final day of Ganeshotsav, when immersion processions across Mumbai often continue into the early hours.

Preparations are also under way at Girgaon Chowpatty, one of Mumbai’s main immersion sites, where booths, tents and other facilities are being installed ahead of Friday’s processions.

At Lalbaugcha Raja, the mandal said its Charansparsh Darshan queue will close at 6am on September 24. The Mukh Darshan queue will close at midnight the same day, ahead of the idol’s immersion journey.
