Mumbai Metro extends late-night services for Ganeshotsav until September 25

Mumbai Metro will run later from September 14 to 25, adding late-night departures across several corridors for Ganeshotsav travel.

On Metro 1, the last train from Versova to Ghatkopar will leave at 12.15am. The final service from Ghatkopar to Versova will depart at 12.40am and reach Versova at 1.03am.

Lines 2A, 2B, 7 and 9 will run until 12.30am, instead of the regular 11pm closing time. Final trains will depart from Andheri West and Dahisar East on Line 2A; Gundavali and Kashigaon on Lines 7 and 9; and Maharashtra Nagar–Mandale and Chembur on Line 2B.

The operator plans to add 10 to 15 daily trips, depending on the corridor and day. On weekdays, Line 2A will run 299 services, Lines 7 and 9 will run 290, and Line 2B will run 180.

Metro 3, or the Aqua Line, will also operate until midnight. Its final trains from Cuffe Parade and Aarey JVLR usually leave at 10.30pm. The extended schedule covers travel towards Siddhivinayak, Dadar, Worli, Mahalaxmi and Girgaon.
