Mumbai University requires APAAR linking for October hall tickets

Mumbai University has said students must link their APAAR ID to the university portal while submitting examination forms to receive hall tickets for the October examinations.

The university has shared with affiliated colleges a list of about 11,000 students whose IDs are yet to be linked. It has asked principals, directors and heads of departments to ensure that these students complete the process before submitting their forms.

APAAR, or Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry, is a 12-digit student identifier linked with Academic Bank of Credits registration under the National Education Policy. It is intended to digitally store marksheets and support the transfer and verification of academic credits.

Mumbai University has previously issued circulars and held special camps to help students create and link their IDs. Students on the pending list need to complete the linkage before submitting their examination forms.
