Mumbai events: Krishna music, theatre and Ganpati-making workshops

Gayatri Iyer will lead a Krishna bhajan evening at Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Udyan on September 5 from 7 pm. Attendees can join in the devotional music.

At Nehru Centre Auditorium in Worli, *Mere Krishn* will present a 21-scene theatrical account of Krishna’s life from September 5 to 7. The production combines theatre, music, dance and multimedia, tracing the story from Vrindavan to the Mahabharat and Dwarka.

Flautist Varsh Jain will perform a Krishna-themed musical programme with a live ensemble at The Pavilion by QUORUM on September 6. The set includes Krishna songs, bhajans, classical improvisation and a flute-sitar jugalbandi.

Clay Ganpati-making workshops will run from September 5 to 27 in Andheri, Bandra, Girgaon and Lokhandwala, with multiple booking slots. Ganpati aagman processions are planned on September 6, particularly in the Lalbaug-Parel belt, while Dahi Handi celebrations are scheduled across Mumbai on September 5.
