Noida to e-auction 34 kiosks in Sector 18 and Sector 38A

Noida Authority plans to e-auction 34 food and retail kiosks in Sector 18 and near Gate 2 of GIP Mall in Sector 38A to individual applicants.

Nineteen prefabricated kiosks, each measuring 10.80 sqm, have been installed along DSC Road in Sector 38A. Eleven are designated for food businesses and eight for non-food ventures. The site between Botanical Garden Metro station and GIP Mall has seating and roadside parking for more than 100 vehicles. The Authority has proposed the area as a food and commercial destination featuring cuisines from different states.

Sector 18 will have 15 kiosks of 11.34 sqm each at locations within the market. Twelve are proposed for non-food businesses and three for food vending, though the mix may change during the licence period with the Authority's approval. Suggested uses include clothing, books, art, watches and mobile-related products, and up to two food trucks may be permitted.

The proposed reserve price is Rs 532 per sq ft per month for each kiosk. Licences will run for seven years, with a possible three-year extension. Fees will increase by 10% each year, and successful bidders will be responsible for cleanliness, waste management, landscaping and upkeep of common infrastructure.
