Noida diverts goods vehicles away from Delhi until September 13

Heavy, medium and light goods vehicles travelling from Noida to Delhi cannot use the Chilla, DND or Kalindi Kunj borders until September 13, Gautam Buddh Nagar traffic police said. The restrictions are in place for the BRICS summit in New Delhi.

At Chilla, goods vehicles will make a U-turn at the red light and head towards the Noida Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE). Vehicles reaching the DND border will turn back from the toll plaza and take the Noida Expressway to the EPE. At the Kalindi Kunj-Yamuna border, Delhi-bound goods vehicles will be diverted at the underpass intersection before the Yamuna river.

Vehicles approaching Delhi from the Yamuna Expressway and Pari Chowk will be routed through P-3, Kasna and Sirsa before joining the EPE. Another diversion runs through Falaida cut, Rabupura service road, Galgotia, Gautam Buddh University, Pusta Tiraha, Honda CL Chowk and Kasna town.
