Noida launches app to log streetlight complaints

A faulty streetlight can now be reported through Noida Smart LED Light, a mobile app launched by the Noida Authority’s electrical department.

The app allows residents across Noida to register complaints about lights that are switched off, malfunctioning or facing other lighting problems. Each complaint will be digitally logged and tracked, and users can check its status after registration, the Authority said.

The app is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Residents who prefer calling can continue to use the toll-free streetlight complaint helpline: 18001029574.

The app provides an additional way to report outages, including issues such as the six-day streetlight outage reported by Sector 122 residents in August. Residents can use the app to file and follow up on complaints, while the helpline remains available.
