Noida directs roster-based toilet cleaning at council schools

Toilets and urinals at Noida’s council schools must be cleaned on a roster under directions from the district administration.

In rural areas, sanitation workers must clean the inside and outside of primary and upper-primary school premises. Block education officers will monitor the work, and officials will place lapses before the district-level Kayakalp Monitoring Committee, chaired by the district magistrate.

The second direction covers council schools in urban Noida, including areas notified by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Cleaning staff have been asked to maintain campuses and sanitation facilities.

A district-level task force will inspect schools. Officials will upload photographs of sanitation facilities to the inspection module on the Prerna portal.
