Noida restricts traffic around ISKCON, Sector 33 for Janmashtami

Devotees travelling to ISKCON Temple in Sector 33 must park near the Adobe building and walk to the temple during Friday’s Janmashtami celebrations, traffic police said.

Police said they will restrict vehicle movement between the NTPC underpass and Gijhor intersections, including in the Gijhor-to-NTPC direction. The Gijhor-ISKCON Temple route and the stretch between the Sectors 25-31 intersection and Gijhor will remain closed until the celebrations conclude.

Commuters travelling from Gijhor towards Atta underpass can use Hoshiarpur and City Centre, or take the Samarville route. Those travelling from the Sectors 25-31 intersection towards Sectors 60, 62, Indirapuram or Ghaziabad via Gijhor have been advised to use Spice Mall, Adobe intersection, Sector 22 and the Sector 23-54 T-point.

The elevated road will remain operational, but entry and exit through the ISKCON/NTPC loops will not be allowed. VVIP vehicles can enter from the Sectors 33-34 T-point and park at Shilp Haat.

Police may also impose restrictions near Sanatan Dharma Temple in Sector 19 if crowds increase. Ambulances and fire vehicles will be allowed through. Commuters can seek traffic assistance at 9971009001.
