Noida schools list August 25, 28 and September 4 as festival holidays
Several CBSE-affiliated schools in Noida and Greater Noida have scheduled closures for Eid-e-Milad, Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami over the next fortnight.
The listed holidays are August 25 for Eid-e-Milad, August 28 for Raksha Bandhan and September 4 for Janmashtami. Eid-e-Milad closure dates vary between schools, with at least one school listing August 26 instead.

Jaypee Public School in Greater Noida, SKS World School and several other CBSE-affiliated schools are listed as following this schedule. But families should check their own school circular before making plans: BGS Vijnatham School, for instance, has announced August 26 as its Eid-e-Milad holiday.
The variation matters for parents arranging childcare and for students tracking classwork around the festival break. Holiday schedules can differ by school, board and management, and some schools may use working Saturdays or adjusted timetables to make up for closures.
Schools may also issue local or weather-related closure notices separately through SMS messages, websites or notice boards. Parents can check the academic calendar or contact their school for the final timetable.
