Noida Pushkarni Pond project in Sorkha Jahidabad due in four months

A pond in Noida’s Sorkha Jahidabad village is being redeveloped into a landscaped public space, with Noida Authority officials expecting the ₹9.82-crore Pushkarni Pond project to be completed within four months.

The authority says the work is intended to support water conservation and groundwater recharge while providing a maintained open space for nearby residents.

Its visual plan shows a landscaped water body with paved edges, fountains, pathways, seating areas and structures around the pond.

Officials said construction is being carried out to prescribed standards. The authority had earlier reviewed pond development in several villages, including work to clean water bodies, remove wastewater and improve surrounding areas.
