NPCL begins 15-day outreach drive with Greater Noida RWAs

The power distributor has begun meetings with resident groups, digital-service awareness and a reward scheme for consumers who pay bills on time.

NPCL began a 15-day outreach drive with 46 Greater Noida RWAs. Residents sought fixes for electrical safety, faults, lighting and outage alerts.

NPCL has started a 15-day consumer outreach drive in Greater Noida, opening the campaign with representatives from 46 resident welfare associations.

The first meeting included RWAs from Beta-1, Sigma-2, Omicron-1 and 2, Chi-4, XU-2, Gamma-2 and Delta-1, 2 and 3. Residents raised concerns about electricity supply, infrastructure and consumer services with NPCL distribution operations head Subodh Tyagi and commercial head Praveen Goayl.

NPCL said the drive will focus on dialogue, solutions and recognition. It plans to promote WhatsApp support, online bill payments and digital applications for new connections to reduce routine visits to its offices. The company said consumers who pay bills on time may be eligible for gift vouchers worth ₹1,000 to ₹2,000.

FORWA Greater Noida president Devendra Tiger said RWAs sought action on open electrical panels, inadequate street lighting, delayed fault restoration and poor customer-care response. They also asked for advance notice of planned outages, proper restoration of roads and footpaths after cable work, and an action-taken report on issues raised in February 2026.
