Parelcha Raja donates two computers to Torsol school

Two computer systems have reached Zilla Parishad Full Primary School at Torsol No. 1 through a donation by Parel Vibhag Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, the Nare Park-based group known as Parelcha Raja.

The mandal said the systems are intended to give students access to technology-based learning and educational resources. Torsol residents, Mumbai-based Ajay Pawar and Rajaram (Sachin) Pawar, a school alumnus and Parelcha Raja vice-president, helped facilitate the effort.

School authorities said the computers will support computer education. Headmaster Satyawan Chavan, School Management Committee chairperson Sanjivani Thukrul, Zilla Parishad member Devdatt Kadam and other local representatives attended the handover programme.

The school has previously received development support from former students, philanthropists and social organisations.
