Partition exhibitions open at Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate Metro

Delhi Metro commuters at Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate can view exhibitions on the human impact and historical context of Partition.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) installed the displays to mark Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, observed on August 14. The exhibitions will remain open to the public until August 21.

The displays address displacement and suffering during Partition. Anuj Dayal, DMRC’s principal executive director, said the initiative is intended to offer visitors a reflective and educational experience and a deeper understanding of the events surrounding Partition.

The installations are located inside the two interchange stations and can be viewed by passengers until the exhibition closes on August 21.
