PM Modi releases ₹100 coin at SRCC’s centenary celebration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative ₹100 coin as Shri Ram College of Commerce marked its centenary in New Delhi on Saturday.

Modi travelled to the Delhi University college by Metro and interacted with children during the journey. At the event, he said SRCC was known for its academic record and for nurturing leaders in business, public life and society.

Modi had previously visited the college in 2013, when he was Gujarat’s Chief Minister. In April, he met SRCC’s governing body and a college delegation at his residence and released a special commemorative postage stamp for the institution’s 100th anniversary.

The ₹100 coin was released during Saturday’s centenary celebration.
