PNG connections delayed in Gurugram sectors along Dwarka Expressway

Nearly a year after pipelines and household meters were installed at Puri Emerald Bay in Sector 104, resident SK Paul says the society is still waiting for piped natural gas (PNG) supply.

Residents across Sectors 101 to 115, along the Dwarka Expressway, say pipeline work has either not begun or remains unfinished in many housing societies. At Godrej Meridian in Sector 106, Yash Varmani said no work had started. Balwinder Singh of Joyville condominium in Sector 102 said work was still under way months after it was expected to finish, with no timeline shared.

In Sector 17B, residents said work that had started was later stalled. Bijay Madan said excavated roads, open pits, trenches and construction material had been left without adequate supervision, creating a risk for pedestrians during the monsoon.

Haryana City Gas said work has begun in several societies and connections are being issued gradually. It said work in other societies would start after the monsoon.
