Railway officials hear passenger feedback at KSR Bengaluru station

Bengaluru Division’s Rail Jan Samvaad paired passenger feedback sessions with cleanliness activities across stations on 22 October.

KSR Bengaluru station passengers shared feedback with railway officials on 22 October as Bengaluru Division planned similar sessions and cleanliness drives.

Passengers at KSR Bengaluru Railway Station met Divisional Railway Manager Ashutosh Kumar Singh on 22 October to share feedback on amenities, service improvements and other railway concerns.

South Western Railway’s Bengaluru Division organised the Rail Jan Samvaad session under Special Campaign 6.0. Singh also spoke about special trains the division is operating to meet additional festive-season passenger demand and stressed the need to keep stations clean and hygienic.

The division said it planned similar passenger interactions at Yesvantpur, SMVT Bengaluru, Kengeri, Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru Cantonment, Whitefield, Yelahanka, Bangarapet, Mandya, Tumakuru and Hindupur. Cleanliness activities after the interactions were to cover waste, scrap and e-waste management, along with station upkeep.

KSR Bengaluru held a Gandhi Jayanti cleanliness drive earlier this month. The division has invited passengers and members of the public to submit suggestions and grievances through the sessions.
