Second YouTuber says he received notice over ‘Toxic’ review after Bengaluru court order

Prashanth Rangaswamy said on X that he had received a legal notice from Yash and KVN Productions over his review of *Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups*. He did not share a copy of the notice, and his ‘Murugal Roast’ review was still available online when he made the post.

His claim follows a similar post by YouTuber Suraj Kumar, who shared a screenshot of an email from Bengaluru-based Aiplex Software Private Limited. The screenshot included an authorisation letter from the film’s makers for Aiplex to enforce the court order on their behalf.

On August 22, a Bengaluru court granted an ex parte temporary injunction restraining the publication or circulation of false or defamatory content about *Toxic*. The order, which includes unknown defendants through a John Doe provision, is in force until the next hearing on September 28. The court said it may be vacated if the plaintiffs do not meet its conditions.
