Eetha trailer unveiled in Mumbai; Shraddha Kapoor plays Lavani performer

The trailer for *Eetha*, starring Shraddha Kapoor as Lavani performer Eetha Bai, was unveiled in Mumbai on October 30 ahead of the film’s December 4 theatrical release.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the musical drama follows Eetha Bai from childhood through fame and a period when public attention begins to recede. Kapoor said the role connected her to “a woman whose art, courage and individuality make her unforgettable.”

The film explores Lavani’s music and performance traditions, along with the lives of women associated with the form. Utekar said he wanted to tell the story of an artist after directing *Chhaava*.

Randeep Hooda, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Siddharth Jadhav also feature in the cast. Ajay-Atul composed the music. Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations present the film, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Utekar.

*Eetha* is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 4.
