Social Impact Summit brings 18 initiatives to Taj Lands End

Eighteen initiatives and organisations were recognised at the Social Impact Honours 2026, held during a two-day summit at Taj Lands End in Mumbai earlier this month.

The gathering brought together leaders from business, government and the social sector for sessions on healthcare access, inclusive education, youth participation, climate resilience, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and technology and AI. Piyush Goyal, the Union minister for commerce and industry, attended as chief guest.

More than 50 speakers and sector leaders took part, including ITC chairman and managing director Sanjiv Puri and Malabar Group chairman M. P. Ahammed. Discussions ranged from responsible business models and community resilience to making technology more accessible.

The 18 honourees were selected across health and wellbeing, education, gender equity, technology and AI for social good, climate sustainability, and vocational skilling. The summit was presented by Malabar Gold & Diamonds and powered by Reliance Foundation.
