South Korea visa application centre opens at Shivaji Stadium Metro station

South Korea visa applicants in Delhi can now submit their documents at Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, where a new Korea Visa Application Centre opened on 15 September.

The facility is on the mezzanine level at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place. Lee Seong Ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, inaugurated the centre.

VFS Global, which has handled South Korea visa application services in India since 2011, will accept application forms and supporting documents and collect biometric information at the Delhi centre. It does not decide whether a visa is granted; that decision remains with the relevant Embassy.

For Delhi residents, the centre adds a centrally located option for the submission stage of an application. The other Indian centres are in Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.

Applicants should check the latest requirements, fees and appointment availability with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and VFS Global before preparing documents or booking a visit.
