SSC opens applications for 1,871 Delhi Police, CAPF and CISF SI posts

The Staff Selection Commission has opened applications for 317 sub-inspector posts in Delhi Police, part of a 1,871-post recruitment drive that also covers the Central Armed Police Forces and CISF Fire.

Candidates can apply through ssc.gov.in until September 30. The application correction window is scheduled for October 8 to 10, while the commission will announce the computer-based examination schedule later.

Delhi Police has 205 vacancies for male candidates and 112 for female candidates in the Sub-Inspector (Executive) role. The wider recruitment includes 1,320 sub-inspector vacancies in the CAPFs and 234 Sub-Inspector (Fire) posts in CISF for male candidates.

All the posts carry Pay Level 6, with a salary range of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. Delhi Police SI posts are classified as Group C, while the CAPF and CISF Fire roles are Group B, non-gazetted posts. Candidates appointed as CAPF sub-inspectors may be posted anywhere in India.
