Terrier Cyber Quest finale set for New Delhi in October

New Delhi will host the October finale of Terrier Cyber Quest 2026, a national hackathon on cybersecurity, defence and digital threats.

The Territorial Army and CyberPeace have opened registrations for the competition until August 31. An online shortlisting round will run from September 1 to 10, followed by the New Delhi finale from October 6 to 8. The award ceremony is scheduled for October 9.

The contest has three tracks. Bug Hunting asks participants to identify security weaknesses in simulated critical-infrastructure systems, beginning with an online Capture-the-Flag round. AI Kavach focuses on artificial-intelligence and machine-learning tools that can detect threats and unusual activity. The Creators Challenge invites digital campaigns addressing deepfakes, phishing, online scams and misinformation.

The programme is open to people from educational institutions, industry, research organisations, government bodies and the Armed Forces, including students and technology enthusiasts. Finalists will attend the award ceremony on October 9.
