Thar driver allegedly rams electric cab repeatedly in Gurugram

A black Mahindra Thar allegedly rammed an electric cab eight to 10 times on a Gurugram road on Friday night, damaging the vehicle after an argument between the drivers.

Video recorded by passersby shows the Thar reversing and driving into the cab repeatedly. The cab, registered in West Bengal and owned by an aggregator, had its front airbags deploy, police said. Its driver and two passengers were not injured. The Thar driver then left the spot.

Police are using the vehicle registration number and footage from the scene to identify those involved. An FIR had not been registered by Saturday evening.

Separately, a video circulating from Sector 38 showed a Maruti Baleno and a Hyundai Aura apparently hitting each other late at night. One man appears to be struck by a vehicle and moves away as it approaches again. Police said they had received no complaint in that matter and had not registered an FIR.
