Three injured as car hits barrier near Gurgaon’s Sector 55-56 Chowk

Shivam Kohli, Priyanka Kohli and Aarushi Kohli, all Uttam Nagar residents, were injured after the Hyundai Exter they were travelling in hit a jersey barrier near Sector 55-56 Chowk on Golf Course Road around 3am on Wednesday.

The car was carrying eight people, including four children. The group was returning to Delhi after attending a family function. A passer-by alerted the police control room.

Police reached the spot and seized the damaged vehicle. The three injured people were taken to Marengo Asia Hospital but were discharged before officers reached the hospital, as they planned to seek treatment elsewhere. Police said none of the injuries was reported to be serious.

Police have not identified the driver. An inquiry is under way, and no case had been registered at the time of the police update.
