Three flyovers open for trial traffic on Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari highway

Three flyovers near Harsaru have opened for trial traffic on the 45km Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari highway, offering motorists another route between Gurugram, Pataudi and Rewari.

The new structures are at ATS Chowk near Harsaru, on the road linking Pataudi Road and Sultanpur Road, and near Hayatpur in Harsaru. NHAI said 19 of the corridor’s 23 planned flyovers are now operational. Motorists can access the new flyovers through service roads.

NHAI expects the remaining four flyovers to open in phases. The Babra Bakipur and Jamalpur flyovers are expected by mid-October, after an earlier early-September target. The Wazirpur flyover is awaiting the shifting of high-tension power lines and is expected by December. Until then, traffic will cross the stretch at ground level via the service road. The Dwarka Expressway flyover is expected by January.

NHAI expects most of the ₹1,900-crore highway to be operational by January, apart from a railway overbridge at Pahari village. It is also preparing a repair estimate for the rain-damaged 1.6km stretch between Umang Bhardwaj Chowk and Hero Honda Chowk.
