Bengaluru: Trapperx to play Bastian Garden City on September 19

Sushil Ghunawat, the Jaipur-based artist who performs as Trapperx, will bring his All Black Experience to Bastian Garden City on September 19.

The Bengaluru show runs from 9pm to 12.30am, with an all-black dress code for attendees. Tickets are available on SortMyScene.

Trapperx describes his sound as Bollytech: Bollywood tracks mixed with new-age techno. He says a mash-up of “Kaho na Kaho” and “Black Dress” helped build support for his work, which began with social-media reels. He says some of the early reels that popularised his stage name were shot in Bengaluru.

Before becoming a DJ, Ghunawat worked as a gym trainer and taught at a music academy. He says he has performed alongside Shankar Mahadevan, Atif Aslam and Jubin Nautiyal, and has spent more than a decade developing his music.

Ghunawat says the Bengaluru show follows performances in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. He is also working on an audio-visual project with a team of more than 20 people, which he expects to release around November.
