Delhi UGC NET re-exams: NTA advises early travel on September 9-10
The National Testing Agency said traffic restrictions and diversions linked to the BRICS Summit may lengthen travel times to UGC NET re-examination centres in Delhi.
UGC NET re-examinations in Delhi are scheduled for September 9 and 10. The NTA has advised candidates to check routes, allow extra time and arrive before reporting time.
UGC NET candidates travelling to examination centres in Delhi on September 9 and 10 have been advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
The National Testing Agency said traffic restrictions, diversions and congestion may affect routes in parts of the city as security arrangements are made for the 18th BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 11 to 13.
The agency said examination centres are not in areas expected to face the main restrictions, though travel to them may still take longer. Candidates should check the latest Delhi Traffic Police advisories, plan their route and leave early.
The NTA has also asked candidates to reach their centre well before the reporting time on their admit card and follow the instructions issued with it. The re-examination is being held for English, Sociology and Commerce candidates.
