Woman arrested after alleged assault of domestic worker at Gurugram apartment

A woman has been arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a domestic worker at the Camellias residential complex in Gurugram.

The incident is alleged to have taken place last month inside a luxury apartment. Footage of the alleged assault was recorded by another worker and later circulated widely on social media, following which police registered a case.

The domestic worker, who is from Nepal, left her employment after the incident and returned home. Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the alleged abuse.
