Yeida projects worth ₹3,195 crore get virtual ground-breaking near Noida airport

Escorts Kubota has been allotted 154 acres in Yeida Sector 10 for a ₹2,029-crore manufacturing facility expected to create nearly 4,000 jobs.

The plant is planned to produce about 60,000 tractors a year, along with tractor and agricultural-machinery components. At the same virtual ground-breaking ceremony, Spark Minda Group began projects in Yeida Sectors 10 and 24, involving about ₹1,166 crore in investment and an expected 6,440 jobs, officials said. The facilities are planned to make roughly 2 million automotive-electronics units annually, including switches, sensors and USB chargers.

The announcements were made at the UP-Japan Investment Meet in New Delhi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath invited Japanese firms to invest in green hydrogen, solar energy, electronics, medical devices, automotive manufacturing, semiconductors and advanced manufacturing.

Adityanath also referred to a proposed Japanese city on around 500 acres in Yeida Sector 5A, near Noida International Airport. The plan is for an integrated industrial, commercial and residential township for Japanese companies and citizens.
