Beatlemania, a European tribute band performing the music of The Beatles, is scheduled to play Bengaluru on November 12 as part of a four-city India tour.
The group’s set is expected to include songs such as ‘She Loves You’, ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, ‘Help!’, ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Here Comes the Sun’ and ‘Get Back’. Dave Peterson, who started the band in 1992, said ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Here Comes the Sun’ and ‘Come Together’ are among the tour’s most requested songs.
The current lineup has Michael Giagliano performing as John Lennon, Lee Fuller as Paul McCartney, Nasar Hodson as George Harrison and Brad Brunsdon as Ringo Starr. The musicians have previously performed in India for corporate shows; Peterson described this run as their first live tour in the country.
The tour opens in Chennai on November 11, reaches Bengaluru the following day, then moves to Goa on November 13 and 14 and Hyderabad on November 15. Tickets start at ₹500.
