TAG Heuer unveiled a 250-piece Carrera India Edition at Kapoor Watch Co.’s Hours Icons event in New Delhi, alongside the retailer’s expanded South Extension II store.

TAG Heuer’s 250-piece Carrera India Edition debuted at Hours Icons, a five-day watch gathering held by Kapoor Watch Co. in New Delhi.

The India-exclusive model was developed over nearly two years, TAG Heuer’s Guillaume Boilot said. The company said its dial incorporates 21 Indian languages, along with two languages it describes as the Union’s official languages, with the national flag forming the central design theme. The automatic watch uses the TH31-02 calibre and has an 80-hour power reserve.

The event also marked the unveiling of Kapoor Watch Co.’s reworked flagship in South Extension II. The three-storey, 8,000 sq ft space houses 12 watch brands, along with a client lounge and an integrated watch-service facility.

Pratiek Kapoor, director at Kapoor Watch Co., said the retailer’s core luxury-watch buyers have shifted from the 40-to-50 age group towards people aged 25 to 40. He said newer buyers are reading about movements and craftsmanship, while showing interest in elegant sports watches and classic designs that can work across formal and casual settings.
