Gurugram traffic police have advised motorists to allow extra time as work on a 66 kV transmission line will briefly halt or divert traffic near Khandsa village.
NH-48 traffic near Khandsa village may be stopped or diverted three times on Sunday afternoon as HVPNL replaces a snapped 66 kV conductor.
Motorists using NH-48 near Khandsa village on Sunday afternoon should expect three traffic blocks of about 15 to 20 minutes each.
Gurugram traffic police said Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) will replace a snapped conductor on the 66 kV Harsaru-Sector 35-Badshahpur transmission line, which crosses the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway at this point. The conductor snapped on July 18, causing congestion on the highway.
HVPNL will install a high-temperature, low-sag conductor. Traffic may be stopped or diverted near the Khandsa village cut while crews carry out the work.
Commuters can use the service road or Southern Peripheral Road to avoid the affected stretch, police said. Emergency vehicles will receive priority, and drivers should follow traffic personnel at the site and allow extra travel time.
