Bengaluru Onam sadya prices now stretch from ₹800 to ₹3,000

An Onam sadya in Bengaluru can now cost anywhere from ₹800 to ₹3,000, as restaurants price the festival’s traditional multi-dish meal at sharply different levels.

Onam has become more popular in the city, and diners are finding a broad range of options for the feast. Restaurant owners and diners point to higher prices around the festive meal, which is typically served on a banana leaf.

The city’s Onam menus had already shown a wide spread this season, from ₹649 to more than ₹2,000, as GTK’s earlier guide to Bengaluru sadya menus found. For diners, the latest range means checking the menu and price before booking rather than assuming every sadya follows the same format or bill.

Several Bengaluru restaurants are serving Onam meals this August, with prices now extending to ₹3,000 at the upper end.
