India-West Indies T20 decider in Bengaluru starts at 7pm

India and West Indies play the fifth and final T20I at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, with the series tied 2-2.

India and West Indies meet in the final T20I at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium at 7pm on Saturday, with the series level at 2-2.

India and West Indies will play the final T20I of their series at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, with the five-match contest tied 2-2. The match starts at 7pm.

Spectators travelling to the stadium should note that parking restrictions around the venue are in place on MG Road, Queens Road and Link Road.

Former India player Abhishek Nayar said India should assess Bengaluru’s conditions before finalising their XI. He said the hosts would need to contain West Indies captain Shai Hope during the powerplay. Hope has combined captaincy and wicketkeeping duties while scoring consistently during the tour.

Nayar said Sanju Samson’s innings in the fourth T20I was a positive for India, adding that the batter looked in control and could take that confidence into the final. He suggested spinner Kuldeep Yadav could replace Naman Dhir, rather than India changing their batting line-up.

Nayar said he would consider Vaibhav Sooryavanshi only as an opener, rather than in an unfamiliar role. The match will be broadcast live on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network.
