IP University to start online BBA, BCom classes on September 15

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will start online BBA and BCom classes on September 15 through its Centre for Distance and Online Education in Dwarka.

The three-year programmes will cost Rs 15,000 per semester. Students will have multiple entry and exit options under the National Education Policy.

Vice-chancellor Mahesh Verma said the programmes mark the university’s entry into online education and are intended to extend its reach beyond Delhi. Teaching will use a SWAYAM-enabled learning management system, supported by the university’s collaboration with IIT Madras.

University faculty and faculty from affiliated colleges prepared the course material. The format will include recorded lectures, e-content, weekly live interactive sessions, digital resources, mentoring and learner support.

The university plans to add online programmes in MCA, MA Mass Communication and a postgraduate diploma in healthcare management.
