Changing terminals at Delhi Airport? The transfer points to know

Delhi Airport’s free inter-terminal shuttle runs every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, linking T1, T2 and T3 for passengers making a flight connection.

At T1, the transfer buses for T2 and T3 leave from Lane 1 at Arrivals. Passengers using the T1–T2 shuttle need to show a boarding pass at the designated kiosk to collect a transit-bus coupon. A DMRC feeder bus also operates between T1 and T2 for ₹40.

The T2 pickup point for the T1 shuttle is near VIP Parking. From T3, the T1 shuttle leaves near Pillar 10. T2 and T3 are close enough to walk between: the airport puts the route at about 500 metres, and the T3-to-T2 route uses the tunnel near Pillar 18. Free shuttles and buggy services on request are also available between those terminals.

A terminal transfer can take longer than the bus ride. Domestic travellers changing airlines may have to collect checked baggage, leave the terminal and check in again before another security screening. International transfers involving another terminal can also require immigration, customs and a fresh check-in. Check the departure terminal before leaving home and keep the boarding pass accessible.
