Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan wears leheriya saree at Daayra launch

Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a pastel leheriya saree to the music launch of *Daayra* in Mumbai, paired with a double-layered diamond choker, stud earrings and loose waves.

The chiffon saree, by The Palace Atelier, featured yellow, turquoise, seafoam green and blush-pink shades in a wave-like tie-dye pattern. Khan wore it at the *Daayra* title-track launch.

Leheriya is a traditional Rajasthani tie-dye technique known for its diagonal, wave-like stripes and associated especially with Jaipur and Jodhpur.

On September 11, Khan shared an Instagram Stories collage placing her look alongside a similar leheriya outfit worn by her sister Karisma Kapoor in *Zubeidaa*. She added the film’s song “Main Albeli” and wrote: “Well, I always knew we have good taste… sisters forever @therealkarismakapoor.”
