Lalbaugcha Raja receives over ₹1.37 crore in cash offerings in first two days

Lalbaugcha Raja’s donation boxes collected over ₹1.37 crore in cash during the first two days of Ganeshotsav, as devotees continued to visit the Lalbaug pandal.

On September 15, the stage donation box received ₹27.50 lakh and the rang donation box ₹21 lakh, taking the day’s cash collection to ₹48.50 lakh. Devotees also offered 66.770 grams of gold and 2,806 grams of silver.

The collection rose on September 16, when the stage box received ₹59.60 lakh and the rang box ₹29.30 lakh, for a daily total of ₹88.90 lakh. Gold offerings that day totalled 226.120 grams, while silver offerings were 5,516 grams.

The figures cover cash donations separately from the precious-metal offerings. The 2026 idol was unveiled in Parel on September 14, ahead of the festival’s public visits.
