Seven DLF Phase 3 homes see stilt-parking structures demolished

Four rooms and two toilets built in the stilt parking areas of V-33/6 and V-33/7 were among the structures demolished in Gurgaon’s DLF Phase 3 on Saturday.

The district town planner (enforcement) team also removed a bedroom, toilet and kitchen from stilt areas at V-34/16 and V-34/10A. At V-35/13, it demolished four rooms and toilets; at V-35/11, two drawing rooms, a domestic help room and toilets were removed from the stilt area.

At V-35/21, the team cleared about 15 feet of road land that had been incorporated into a front lawn, restoring it for public use. It separately removed encroachments outside an estimated 45 to 50 houses along around 1.3km of road right of way.

The action follows earlier demolition and sealing drives in DLF Phase 3. DLF management has been directed to clear the construction and demolition waste from V and W blocks through the prescribed process.

DTP (enforcement) Amit Madholia has said stilt parking is intended for vehicles, and rooms built there can push vehicles onto roads.
