SSC opens applications for 317 Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police

The Staff Selection Commission has opened applications for 317 Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police: 205 SI (Executive) positions for men and 112 for women.

The wider 2026 CPO recruitment covers 1,871 posts, including 1,320 SI (GD) vacancies in the Central Armed Police Forces and 234 SI (Fire) vacancies in the CISF. Applications opened on September 10 and must be submitted online by 11pm on September 30. Online fee payments can be made until 11pm on October 1.

For Delhi Police SI and CAPF SI posts, applicants must be aged 20 to 25 on August 1, 2026, and hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Candidates still completing their degree may apply if they obtain the qualification by the closing date. Male applicants for Delhi Police SI must have a valid light motor vehicle licence for a motorcycle and car by the physical endurance and measurement test.

Applicants can correct submitted forms from October 8 to 10. The computer-based examination date has not yet been announced. Read the earlier recruitment details.
