Delhi NCR events on October 2: dance, theatre, art and comedy

Indraprastha Nritya Mahotsav begins at Purana Qila on October 2, alongside theatre, art, comedy and a silk expo in Delhi and Gurugram.

Delhi NCR listings for October 2 include free dance performances at Purana Qila, four plays at Akshara Theatre, art, comedy and a Gurugram silk expo.

Purana Qila’s lawns will host the Indraprastha Nritya Mahotsav from October 2 to 4, with performances beginning at 6pm each evening. Entry is free. Supreme Court Metro station on the Blue Line is the nearest stop.

Akshara Theatre on Baba Kharag Singh Marg has four productions scheduled on October 2: *Park* at 2.30pm, *Ilhaam* at 4pm, *Chuhal* at 5.30pm and *Waiting For Godot* at 7.30pm. Patel Chowk is the closest Metro station.

At Alliance Française in Lodi Estate, *Masters in Making: Threads of Continuum*, curated by Anjchita B Nair, runs until October 10 from 11am to 7pm. Entry is free. A hand-painted sneaker workshop is scheduled at Kenangan Coffee in Greater Kailash II at 3.30pm.

In Gurugram, Manhar Seth performs at The Laugh Store, CyberHub, at 9.30pm. The National Silk Expo – Karwa Chauth Special runs at Epicentre in Sector 44 from October 2 to 5, between 11am and 9pm, with free entry.
