Burgertory has opened its first Mumbai outlet in Andheri West’s Veera Desai Area, serving lamb burgers, Indian-flavoured burger options and cocktails.
Chef Arjun Krishna Singh said the brand has retained its Australian cooking techniques while adapting its seasoning for India. “The format did not change. The spice did,” he said. The menu includes the Paneer Thecha Burger, Kerala Fried Chicken Burger and the Burn To Hell, made with lamb, garlic thyme and pickled onion.
The vegetarian platter includes cheese bomb bites, paneer popcorn, onion rings, batata harra bites and peri-peri fries, served with mint mayo, tandoori peri-peri sauce and ranch. Chipotle Magic Wings are also listed on the menu.
The drinks menu has 12 signature cocktails, including the tomato- and barbecue-led Bloody Sinner, the gin-and-umeshu Halo Spritz, and Cocoa Confession with chocolate-washed rum, banana and hazelnut. Churros, cheesecake and brownies were listed but unavailable during one visit. The stated cost for two is ₹3,000, including alcohol.
